Bellarmine House of Studies

The Jesuit students who enroll in the Saint Louis University College of Philosophy and Letters normally reside in the Bellarmine House of Studies, comprised of four houses in a residential neighborhood near the SLU campus. The Jesuit community at Bellarmine typically includes both scholastics and brothers in studies, as well as some Jesuits who have finished their religious formation.

Bellarmine House Residents, Fall 2024

Residency in Bellarmine House is typically about three years, usually terminating in a certificate, bachelor’s degree, or master’s degree from Saint Louis University.

Jesuit students also spend about eight hours each week engaged in direct apostolic endeavors, on campus or at selected parishes, schools, or social ministry sites around the city.
