Welcome to the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program.  

Our new, three-year program offers you the chance to dive into clinical training, take part in cutting-edge research and be mentored by some of the best in the field. Whether you’re passionate about patient care, antimicrobial stewardship or global health research, we are here to help you grow, learn and make a difference.

Program Overview

The three-year, ACGME-accredited infectious diseases fellowship provides inpatient and outpatient clinical training as well as individualized research projects. The first year of training includes a microbiology lab, weekly continuity clinics and one month of dedicated research. Both the second and third years include five months of inpatient services and seven to eight months of research.

Abrar Ramadan, M.D.

Hometown: Jordan
Medical school: Yarmouk University
Residency: King Abdullah University Hospital, Jordan

Abrar Ramadan has a strong interest in antimicrobial stewardship and complex infections. She is passionate about evidence-based medicine and improving patient care through thoughtful clinical decision-making. 

Outside of work, Ramadan enjoys staying active, exploring new places and spending time with family.

The fellowship program has one available position per year. Physicians who will have completed three years of pediatric residency training by the fellowship start date are encouraged to apply.  

The program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).
