Join Saint Louis University for one of our most beloved alumni traditions this spring!

Held annually on the Saturday before Palm Sunday, SLU's Easter Egg Hunt is a complimentary celebration exclusively for alumni, donors and their families that features:

  • Thousands of colorful eggs filled with special treats
  • Photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny and the Billiken
  • Springtime activities for children
  • Light refreshments

Hunt Times

With egg hunts tailored to different age groups, every Billiken has plenty of opportunities to fill their basket.

  • Hunt A (1-2 year olds): 11:30 a.m. 
  • Hunt B (3-6 year olds):11:40 a.m. 
  • Hunt C (7-10 year olds): 11:50 a.m. 

Purchase a Keepsake Picture with the Bunny

A canvas tote bag that says Saint Louis University Easter Egg Hunt with an image of an egg surrounding the words and an outline of a bunny underneath. Easter eggs can be seen spilling out of the top of the bag.
Bunny bags are available for purchase when you register for the Easter Egg Hunt.

Get an exclusive SLU-branded photo with the Easter Bunny for $10, with $5 going to the Third Century Fund.

  • Sign up when you register for the Easter Egg Hunt. (This will be the only opportunity to get a photo with the Easter Bunny.)
  • Each group will receive one horizontal 4x6 print copy and a link to a digital copy of the photo.

Get Your Commemorative Bunny Bag

This exclusive 20×10" canvas bag, available for $10, with $5 going to the Third Century Fund, features SLU-blue accents and adorable bunny ears, is available only as part of this event. You can purchase one or more bags when you register for the Easter Egg Hunt.

When is the Easter Egg Hunt?

SLU's 2026 Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, March 28. Ensure that you get the event details by updating your alumni record with your preferred email address! 

Where will the Easter Egg Hunt take place?

The Easter Egg Hunt takes place outdoors on Tegeler Field, outside of Tegeler Hall and behind the Sinquefield Science and Engineering Center. See SLU's campus map. 

Where can I park?

Complimentary parking will be available in the Olive Compton or Laclede garages. Please plan to arrive on time. Parking may be congested due to numerous events happening around campus that day. You will need to show the parking attendant the ticket included in our reminder email, which will be sent before the event, to park for free.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

Please take a moment to read our Event Cancellation Policy. By submitting your registration, you and your registered guests accept the terms and conditions.

Where do I pick up my bunny bag?

Pre-purchased bunny bags will be available for pickup at our check-in area, located in McDonnell Douglass Hall. Please hand the receipt from your welcome packet to a staff member to retrieve your bag(s). A limited supply of bags will be available for purchase. Only credit cards will be accepted. 

Where do we go for our photo with the Easter Bunny?
If you purchased a commemorative bunny keepsake picture, please present the receipt included in your welcome packet to a staff member once it is your turn. There are no assigned time slots this year. Your photo will be taken in the Sinquefield Science and Engineering Center. Please follow the signs to join the line once you’ve entered the building. You will receive a 4x6 print immediately after the picture is taken.
